Note: This is a good price for NONSTOP flights, which usually price around $1600, but last month United had a deal with stops for $588. If you value price over routing then you’ll probably want to wait on a cheaper deal. 

Note: Last year’s Nonstop deal to Tokyo was $486-$636 on American.

It’s possible to re-position into Los Angeles from Dallas (DAL / DFW) for $82 round-trip on most TUE/WEDs in February via United or Southwest. If you combine these two separate round-trip tickets, you can get from Dallas (DAL) to Tokyo (NRT) for $680 with a connection in Los Angeles (LAX). Singapore Airlines sale ends at Midnight on Monday, November 30.

United is offering airfare with a stopover rule that allows you to spend time in both Tokyo and Hong Kong for $641 round-trip. Departures available from September to December.

This itinerary is possible by using the discount fare from Dallas (DFW) to Hong Kong (HKG) and adding a Tokyo (NRT or HND) stopover.

If you only want a round-trip to Hong Kong (HKG) from Dallas (DFW) it’s available for $515 right now. However, I think you’ll get more value by adding in the Tokyo stopover for +$100 more.
