Delta, United, and Southwest have all posted competing round-trip flights from Dallas (DFW/DAL) to Maui or Honolulu (OGG, HNL) for $343-$357 with a connection. Flights are between December to February. Weekends available.

Delta allows one carry-on bag and one personal item for free.

Delta has started their own Hawaii sale in response to the recent United and Southwest sales. This has pushed prices lower today.
Prices have been in an uptrend since June, when it bounced off $347 resistance price. This direction has now flipped to a downtrend.
Prices have been dropping since last week, when we mentioned Honolulu was $385.
It’s possible, but unlikely that prices drop much lower.
The previous lowest price this year was $301, set on May 20th by Hawaiian Airlines, with the GETAWAY25 code.

Flights January, February, April, May, August, and September. Departures on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Origin/Destination reversible.

Some small OTAs on Skyscanner have this for cheaper than the airline. If you plan on booking there, beware of any site that charges a fee to cancel a ticket within the 24-hour “free” period. Use unknown booking sites at your own risk.

Fiji fares are Nonstop starting around $646.
All others have a connection in Fiji.
Some Melbourne and Sydney routes have a forced 25-hour overnight stop in Fiji.

This is an older deal that we mentioned a few months ago. We think it’s a good price range for German round-trips, especially the nonstop route. The 6-month lowest moving average price for these is about $624.

American Airlines has round-trip flights to Madrid, Barcelona, Dublin, Lisbon, or Amsterdam starting at 17500 points each-way.

Taxes and fees will vary, but generally, it’s about $6 for the outbound, and between $46 to $120 for the return, so if you did a round-trip, your total all-in-cost would be about 35,000 points with between $52-$126 in taxes/fees.

If you consider a point to be worth one penny, this would put the 35000 point cost to be equivalent to spending around $350 real dollars for the round-trip. Then add in the actual tax/fees of about $52-$126, and you get $402-$476.

We often post about cash-fares to Europe in the $417-$500 range, so the European redemptions in this sale are “Fair”, but you may want to wait and save your points on destinations that don’t often go on sale and present a greater redemption value.
