This operates as a UA/ANA code-share, so if you are leaving on a date that allowed for ANA, it’s usually the better airline as far as service goes.
This fare allowed for open-jaw itineraries. Which means you can setup your itinerary to spend a few days in Tokyo, then take then Shinkansen to Nagoya, spend a few days there, then Kyoto, and then finally fly back from Osaka. This will allow you to see more without back-tracking to Tokyo to take your flight back.
