This is the best offer we’ve seen for this card. We only recommend getting this card if you are already a Marriott loyalist as the $250 annual fee will be hard to justify unless you are consistently earning 6x and 1000 points per stay.

These card perks are worth mentioning:

• 15 Elite Night Credits: Each calendar year get 15 Elite Night Credits for Marriott Bonvoy Elite status. Limitations per Marriott Bonvoy account. This benefit is not exclusive to Cards offered by American Express.‡

• Complimentary Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Status.

• Earn 1,000 bonus points with each qualifying stay.

The card has the following point categories:

• Earn 6x Points for eligible purchases at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy®.‡
• Earn 4x Points at restaurants worldwide [including takeout and delivery in the U.S.] and U.S. Supermarkets (on up to $15,000 in combined purchases at restaurants and supermarkets per calendar year, then 2X points).‡

• Earn 2x Points on all other eligible purchases.‡

There are a few other things to point out about this deal:

• This is the best offer that we’ve seen for this card. Previous offer was 85,000 points.

• To receive the welcome offer, you must spend $5000 or more in the first 6 months after you receive you are approved for the card.

• This card has an annual fee: $250 per year.

•  This welcome offer is not available if you have received a previous welcome offer for the Marriott Bonvoy Bevy™ American Express® Card or the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card.

• Amex will likely deny your application if you apply for more than 2 cards at the same time, have more than 5 or more Amex cards, or 10 or more cards total.
